$CASHCAT, update: +147% following the verdict, but the fundamentals haven't changed
$CASHCAT (Cash Cat) has been active for 268 hours and hasn't crashed. Since our first analysis, where we gave it a 4/10 rating due to its inflated FDV of 56x, the price has risen by +147%-from $0.067 to $0.171. This isn’t a flash pump, but rather sustained growth driven by real trading volume. The question is: what has changed, and why hasn’t the token crashed?
Metrics: Liquidity has increased, but the FDV remains sky-high
Most importantly: liquidity isn’t drying up. At the time of the first analysis, the pool was around $6M; now it’s $8.3M-a 39% increase. This means that money is not only flowing into the price but also into the order book depth. 24-hour volume of $41M with a pool of $8.3M = a 4.9x ratio-active trading with no visible signs of pump bots.
But FDV remains an issue: $169M with actual liquidity of $8.3M = a ratio of 20x. This isn’t critical (it used to be 56x), but it still means that 95% of the market cap exists only on paper. If a major holder dumps their holdings, the price could drop sharply.
Age (268 hours = 11 days) - a plus: the token has weathered its first wave of volatility and wasn’t pre-prepared for a pump-and-dump. This sets $CASHCAT apart from three-hour memes that are created, pumped using bot volume, and then abandoned.
Distribution and red flags: social media presence is nonexistent; growth is happening quietly
A critical issue remains: no social media presence (a red flag based on the data). With a 147% increase over 11 days, zero social activity on our watchlist means one of two things: either the growth is being driven by insiders or bot trading, or funds are flowing in from below via anonymous wallets.
Top holders remain in the shadows (the data does not include on-chain distribution). This means we don’t know who controls 30-50% of the supply. In the absence of social signals, this is the main risk.
Verdict: a degen pool with deep liquidity, but lacking trust
$CASHCAT has moved from the category of “quick pump with no fundamentals” to “active pool with questions about distribution.” Liquidity is indeed deep, trading volume is active, and the token has a respectable age. But the lack of social media presence and the opacity of the top 10 holders, combined with an inflated FDV, is not a sign of quality-it’s just luck. The token could continue to rise if insiders hold onto it and gradually sell off their holdings. Or it could crash by 70-80% in a single day if they decide to dump it more aggressively.
