$BRODIE Soared 346,000% in 5.5 Hours: A Launch Without Social Media or a Team
$BRODIE is a meme coin on the Robinhood Chain that launched 5.5 hours ago. Since then, the price has jumped from zero to $0.007, yielding a return of 346,148%. At first glance, this looks like a classic pump in a nascent market: $10.5M in trading volume with 274k in liquidity, and buys outnumbering sells by a factor of 4.3. But there’s a significant caveat.
Metrics: Active trading, but a suspicious profile
- FDV: $6.66M-inflated for a token in a pump, but realistic given this volume
- Liquidity: $274k-thin for a $10.5M trading volume, but not critical (no LP freezes in the data)
- Activity: 7,113 buys vs. 1,669 sells-a clear pump; 81% of trades are buys
- Social media: None found. At all. No website, no Twitter, no Discord
Bullish scenario (if the chart is to be believed)
Age <5 hours and a +346k pump-according to our statistics, tokens less than 24 hours old see a 2x+ pump in 4% of cases (n=273). This is rare, but not impossible. A turnover-to-liquidity ratio of 38.5x indicates genuine interest, not bot activity. If the founders are holding their positions and are willing to respond, this could be a legitimate launch.
Bearish Scenario (More Likely)
The token is 5.5 hours old, has no social media presence, the team is not visible, and the website cannot be found. According to our database, tokens without social media are at risk of crashing in 36% of cases (n=22), but this is based on the average age. For tokens launched less than 6 hours ago, the absence of even a Twitter account is a red flag: either insider information is already being circulated in private chats and the main pump has already happened, or this is preparation for a quick dump.
The market is overheated (according to the engine’s index ≥70): under such conditions, growth of >100% increases the probability of a crash by 15% above the baseline. Another 12% of the risk comes from the token’s young age. In total, if the token is less than 6 hours old, it risks a 60-80% pullback as early as tomorrow.
Distribution and Red Flags
There is no data on the top-10 distribution or the deployer’s history, which is immediately suspicious for a token with a 10.5M turnover. If the mint hasn’t been revoked and the LP isn’t frozen, this poses an additional risk of a founder dump.
Most importantly: the token skyrocketed without a single mention on social media on our radar (social_mentions is empty). This means that none of the top influencers on our watchlist promoted it. Given this level of trading volume during the pump, it’s either an insider group or bots driving the hype. The latter is more likely.
