What an honest launch looks like: a portrait of a deployer you can trust
The signature registry works both ways: legitimate launches also have a pattern. Let's describe it - with an important caveat at the end.
Portrait of an honest launch
- Liquidity: locked for months/burned immediately, pool-to-market-cap ratio is adequate - the deployer voluntarily cut off the path to rug pull #1.
- Contract: mint revoked, taxes zero or fixed, owner privileges renounced - nothing left to abuse.
- Team allocation: modest, visible, with public vesting - not 40% for "marketing" through proxy wallets.
- First-hours distribution: no bundled buys with their own bots - the bubble map is clean.
- Track record: the deployer's past projects are alive or shut down clearly - not a graveyard of one-day tokens.
- Communication: no promises of x-multiples or "listing on Binance soon" - serious teams don't sell hot air.
Mandatory caveat
An honest launch is about the absence of scam mechanics, not price growth. Even a legitimate meme coin still dies with a 90%+ probability - simply from market indifference, honestly and without a rug pull. Deployer verification screens out theft; the market risk remains entirely intact. That's why in our verdicts, a clean on-chain profile is a necessary condition for rating above "casino," but never sufficient for a "signal."
