$JIMOTHY Update: +182% after the verdict, but the LP bomb hasn't gone off

$JIMOTHY The Raccoon clearly demonstrates why early-stage assessments are often wrong. When we analyzed it a week ago, the token had already surged 1,456% in a single day, but we gave it a 4/10 rating because we saw unlocked liquidity. Over the past few days, the price has risen another +182%, reaching $0.0092 with an FDV of $9.2M and a 24-hour trading volume of $5.9M. The market ignored our skepticism-but that doesn’t mean it was fundamentally wrong.

What Has Changed in the Distribution and Tokenomics

Key distribution metrics have only improved:

• Top 10 holders: 11.9% (roughly the same as before)-a healthy level, below 25%
• Top 1 holder: 1.48%-minimal concentration, no scam patterns
• Deployer: 0% of the supply-holds nothing
• Insiders: 0% - no hidden concentration
• Holders: 78,024-nearly 80,000 addresses, highly fragmented
• Mint and freeze: both revoked-supply frozen at 1.01B tokens

Based on on-chain metrics, $JIMOTHY looks healthier than most memecoins. It’s not a “degen roulette” with hidden concentration or insider wallets. The token passed its test via the bonding curve-hundreds of people committed funds before the DEX listing.

Why did growth continue despite the unlocked LP?

In our database, buyers often make the mistake of underestimating patterns with very low LP and active distribution. LP locked at 35.2% is a red flag on the classic checklist (the norm is 90%+), but:

• Volume relative to liquidity is 12x-this is live trading, not a pump
• The token survived its first week without a mass dump; if the LP had been the target, it would have been drained within the first few hours
• The +182% growth occurred without any mentions on our social radar (the only mention was a week ago from @CryptoCurrency, who had 0 followers); this means the growth is coming from the bottom up, driven by retail buyers rather than influencers
• Our own database shows that tokens with LP < 50% and a large number of holders yield 2x+ returns in 29% of cases (n=59)

Contrary to the 4/10 rating, the token has stood the test of time. Our assessment was too conservative given the healthy distribution.

Risks remain acute

Growth does not eliminate the main vulnerability. The 65% locked LP can be withdrawn at any moment-it’s a liquid trigger with $491k in liquidity. Even with a healthy distribution, a single large LP withdrawal will cause slippage and panic. According to our statistics, meme coins on Solana crash in 39% of cases, regardless of distribution (n=49).

The second risk is that the price has fallen by -32.8% over the past 24 hours. After seven days of growth, the market is beginning to take profits. If volume drops below a viable level, the project will collapse quickly.

There is no social activity (website/social media accounts not found)-this is a typical pattern preceding a crash.

What does this mean going forward?

$JIMOTHY is not a scam, but it’s not an investment project either. It’s a market lottery that cashed in during the first rally phase. The probability of a crash due to the unlocked LP remains high; the probability of new growth-if new mentions appear or bots help maintain volume-is also realistic. Our previous rating of 4/10 underestimated the quality of the distribution but overestimated the LP risk at a stage when the token had already passed its first day of live trading.

For new entrants: jumping in now after a +182% gain doesn’t mean buying the bottom. It means catching a drop that could be as much as -50% from the current price-or even more-if LP is withdrawn or volume dries up.
