$LAB update: -96% confirms the verdict; the LP bomb has exploded
LAB continues to fall. Since our initial analysis, the token has lost 96% of its value: from $0.1 to $0.225 today (FDV has plummeted from $6 billion to $223 million). The 2/10 verdict turned out to be even optimistic-the scheme played out exactly as the insiders planned.
What has changed since the first verdict
On the surface-nothing. The price has fallen, trading volume remains active ($26 million in the last 24 hours), and the pool is still deep ($1.7 million in liquidity). But the on-chain structure hasn’t budged a millimeter: the same distribution, the same red flags as a month ago. This isn’t a manic, fast-paced meme coin pump-and-dump-it’s a planned dump by insiders using active trading volume.
Most importantly: the LP remains 100%unlocked. The creators can withdraw $1.7M in liquidity at any moment. The top 10 wallets hold 85% of the supply-with this distribution, any sudden withdrawal of LP will send the price crashing to dust. Right now, the token is already in a slump, but if insiders decide to take the remaining tokens, the price will drop to zero within hours.
The Canon Doesn’t Save You from the Market
According to the LAB launch checklist, it scores 45 out of 100: the mint has been revoked, there are no taxes, and the deployer doesn’t capture the supply. On paper, it looks cleaner than trash. But the “Canon” is merely a safeguard against technical scams (honeypots, live mints). No one can save you from market gravity.
CoinGecko reported this morning a 66.8% drop over the course of the day (from $4.7B to $1.5B in market cap). This was one of the last bubbles before the final crash. There’s no social media presence, and no mentions on our watchlist-the token survives solely on traders trying to catch a falling knife.
Risks and Future Developments
- LP bomb: 0% liquidity lock-up means that any day could be the last day of this pool;
- 85% concentration in the top 10: when insiders start cashing out, volume will crash, and the spread will widen indefinitely;
- No social validation: the pump is sustained solely by mechanical volume and the hopes of repeat offenders;
- FDV is still inflated: 131x relative to liquidity-even after the drop, the token is still overvalued by 10-50x compared to competitors.
The scenario from here is simple: either insiders withdraw their LP tokens and the token dies for good (another -70-90%), or someone from the top 10 starts to panic and sell-a domino effect will bring down the rest. Either way, it all leads to zero.
