What Happened with WINGIT This Week

In our last analysis, we gave it a 6/10 (CASINO) rating-the token lasted just one day, its price skyrocketed by 241%, but all the on-chain red flags pointed to a classic pump-and-dump scheme. At the time, we wrote: “A quadratic distribution and a locked LP usually spell trouble.”

Over the past week, the price has fallen 56% from that high. But the story didn’t end with a 99% crash-the token continues to trade, volume remains decent ($1.13M per day, 6.9x liquidity turnover), and there are now 22,289 holders. The screen is green again: +64% over the last 24 hours, +61% over the last 6 hours.

Distribution: Great Launch or a Trap

Let’s start with what worked: launch_quality gave it a score of 96/100-this is one of the best on-chain frameworks we’ve seen. The checklist is fully completed:

  • The LP is 100% locked-the pool isn’t going anywhere
  • Minting has been revoked-no new coins will be issued
  • The freeze has been lifted-holders can trade freely
  • The top 10 holders own 4.4%-the distribution is truly broad
  • Deployer holds 0%-the creator didn’t keep any for themselves
  • Insiders hold 0%-there are no hidden wallets with large positions
  • Provenance is a “graduate”-it went through a bonding curve (presale), with hundreds of people committing funds BEFORE listing on the DEX

On paper-it’s ideal. The creators can’t steal money through traditional methods (no access to the LP, can’t mint more, can’t freeze funds). Holders are widely dispersed.

Why does our database say “rug” with this mask?

This is where statistics come into play. Our engine is trained on real-world outcomes, and here’s what it sees in WINGIT’s patterns:

  • LP locked ≥90% + minting revoked + top 10 < 25%-this resulted in a rug pull of -80%+ in 88% of cases (n=8). The pattern is more reliable than it seems.
  • A healthy distribution (top 10 < 30%) + active social media-historically leads to a rug pull in 77% of cases (n=13). It may seem paradoxical, but it is precisely these tokens that often lure retail investors with false hope, only to dump them later.
  • A price increase of 100%+ in a single day-in our sample of 204 cases-resulted in a 2x+ pump in 0% of cases and a rug pull in 38%.

UTS (our deterministic score) gave a rating of 6/10-placing it squarely in the zone where the median return is -64% over a week. This isn’t a death sentence, but it’s not an algorithm error either.

What else is suspicious

A paid boost on DexScreener (boosted_on_dexscreener: true). This results in a rug pull in 63% of cases (n=8). It’s not always a scam, but combined with the other factors, it adds to the risk.

A rally without a clear social media driver. The data shows a social signal (social media is active), but there’s no information about specific mentions from major accounts on our watchlist. A +64% increase in a single day without a visible call-to-action or influencer hype suggests insider activity or bots.

What saves it from being a total flop

Graduation via the bonding curve is a real game-changer. Once a token has passed through this curve, it has already allowed hundreds of people to withdraw their funds before listing. This creates a psychological buffer: many who nearly lost their investment are motivated to hold on and even invest more to recoup their losses. A complete crash of -99% would have been much more severe.

At 209 hours (9 days) old, the token has already weathered the first wave of panic. Young tokens (< 48 hours) with thin liquidity pools usually drop faster.

Verdict: CASINO remains

We cannot raise the rating because the patterns haven’t changed-they’ve merely unfolded according to the predicted scenario. There’s also no reason to lower it to SKIP: the token hasn’t crashed, the distribution remains healthy, and the LP is still locked.

Rating: 5/10 (CASINO). This is a high-risk gamble with a very attractive facade. If you’re already in a position, set a strict stop-loss at -30-40% from your entry price. If you’re entering now, only risk an amount you’re prepared to lose entirely. Psychologically, it looks safer than it actually is.
