$LAB update: -95% confirmed the verdict, LP is still unlocked
Exactly one month ago we reviewed $LAB (LAB) with a 2/10 verdict - FDV inflated 159x against $173K liquidity, with top 10 holding 86% of supply. The story repeated almost perfectly: price fell from $6.36 to $0.31 (-95%), but volume stayed calm at $32M per day (16.5x liquidity). This is the pattern of a long distribution, not a panic crash.
Distribution: whales and deployer still hold the structure
The main point: LP remains 0% locked - exactly as it was a month ago. Top-10 wallets still hold 86.3% of total supply, and the first holder owns 20.2%. The deployer itself holds 0%, but controls the pool through top-10 addresses - a classic setup.
The positive side: mint is revoked (no extra printing) and there are already 31,753 holders - some dispersion has happened. But with top-10 concentration this high, any large sell can drop price 20-30% in hours. The deployer has not pulled yet - either waiting for recovery, or distributing slowly through related whale wallets to avoid scaring everyone else.
Launch vs reality: the canon is still broken
Launch quality scored 45/100 with a known ratio of 89% - points for revoked mint and normal taxes, but two critical failures: unlocked LP and concentration. At the time, the deployer was first in our database (clean profile), but a month of history now shows that it did not rug outright; it simply held the position.
There are no socials, only a @CoinGecko mention (0 followers in our database) about a 66.8% drop - that was the $4.7B FDV peak. No watchlist calls, no hype. Either this was an organic micro-den, or all marketing happened inside closed chats.
What next
With this concentration and unlocked LP, the probability of a second rug wave remains high. Live volume is good for pool liquidity, but bad for holders: whales can sell in pieces and stretch the decline over weeks. The fact that the pool survived a month suggests the deployer may already have extracted the main value, or simply switched into long-hold mode.
The verdict from a month ago - 2/10, not recommended - is fully confirmed. This is not a scam in the honeypot sense, but the launch structure gives the deployer and top 10 full control over price and the ability to exit whenever they choose.
